In the film"Rumor Has It 2024", the main character Yong-jun, who is 26 years old, is facing a dilemma as he feels lost without any aspirations. Things take a turn when he meets Yeo-reum, who is the same age as him, and instantly falls in love. Yeo-reum is dedicated to looking after her younger sister Ga-eul, who is a deaf swimmer aspiring to compete in the Olympics. She sees her sister's dreams as her own. As Yong-jun and Yeo-reum start to develop romantic feelings for each other, she begins to discover a new sense of purpose in her life.
